Valentine's Day in Spain!! :)

When you think of  Spain or if you have ever been there it is a beautiful romantic destination! Spain celebrates Valentines Day in February too. This day is a major festival in Spain and foreign tourists fly for an enjoyable experience. They arrange the festivals with Spanish style with a little cultural influence from America, through popular media.
SPAIN'S TRADITION:
This is a day of happiness and excitement. The most common custom thing to do on this day is exchanging gifts with love messages. People dress up and go dancing with their loved ones. Young men give flowers, rings, perfumes, gift baskets, or photos as their gifts. Roses, chocolates, candies, and cards are the most popular gifts. In Spain, Valentine's Day is considered to as a lover's day. Some travel to Madrid and Barcelona to have an enjoyable experience there with there significant other. Valentine's Day in Spain is like any other parts of the world that celebrate it but in my opinion I believe it is the most romantic places to be on that day.

Assignment on Learning Experiences

One of the rationales discussed in chapter 1 that i could relate to most would be the cultural understanding. The reason is because when i was in 3rd or 4th grade we had to make a pinata and stuff it with candy. Then i remember one year we learned about other peoples cultures and dress up either as an Indian or any culture we thought of. I dressed up as an Indian girl and gave a small speech about their heritage. It was a great way to learn about different peoples cultures and gave me a better understanding as well.  Vocations was least significant to me or i dont recall using this in my past. I never really had much hands on with software, photography or film.

Out of the three approaches would be media approach because i recall making pottery in my art class. this was exciting and a different art approach  and many teachers use this activity in their classes today.
